In term 4, Year 5 students investigated light energy.
They discovered that light travels in straight lines and that light can be reflected, refracted and absorbed.
To complete this unit, students were challenged to make a light maze using laser lights to hit a target. Using their knowledge of reflection and how light travels, students designed a maze that required a light to be reflected at least three times and be reflected to different level before it hit a target. The imagination and creativity were excellent. Here are some of the more successful mazes.
