The excursion to AQWA on Tuesday 25th August was a great experience for the students. Only a handful of the classes had been before and they were amazed at the diversity of species they saw on the day. The River Rangers began the day with a walk on the beach experiencing how different the environment is compared with the bushland of the upper Canning River. They then spent time in AQWA exploring the numerous displays, but none were more awesome than the travelator that moved under the water so you could see different species in their interacting with each other. Back at school, students made displays of different types of coral that they witnessed at AQWA.
