This year in Science Week, Scitech visited our school and showed us the wonders of space. Students from k-6 were amazed at the stars and planets they could see in the spacedome. This was followed by a workshop where the lower primary students had to design and create a shelter that could withstand extreme storms that could occur on Mars. Our middle and upper primary students had to design a protective landing pad for a lunar module to land on Mars.
Thanks must go to the presenters of Scitech for taking our students on an experience they will never forget.
